Quick Guide to Activate Your RBC Credit Card
Activating your RBC credit card is simple and can be done online, through RBC Online Banking, the RBC Mobile app, or by phone.

Go to rbc.com/activate.

Enter your 16-digit RBC credit card number from the front of your card.

Follow the on-screen prompts to verify your details and complete activation.

If you already use RBC Online Banking, sign in to your account.

Select your credit card from the Account Summary page.

On the Account Details page, choose Activate Now or Activate My Credit Card.

Follow the instructions shown on the screen.

You can also activate a personal RBC credit card through the RBC Mobile app by signing in and following the card activation option.

If you prefer phone activation, RBC says you can call and follow the automated instructions to activate a personal or business credit card.
After activation, sign the back of your card. If this is a replacement card, destroy the old card safely.
